When we argue for a Creator...what are we arguing? We say we are arguing for the evidence of a Creator, and that is correct. But we are also mainly arguing about this:
CHANCE VS PURPOSE
Let's put this into the same comment (above.) We are arguing for the evidence of a Creator (purpose,) against darwinists who are arguing for naturalism (chance.) Darwinists will make up names such as materialism, naturalism, darwinism or evolution...but not what it really is. CHANCE. Say you roll dice and it lands like this: 1:1. Ok. So what. That is once where you rolled double 1. You roll again and get the same thing. Oh, so what. It happened twice. You roll again. Same thing. You roll again. Same thing. By now, if this was in real life, people would begin to suspect you of a magic trick. Why? Because the odds are quite small for that to happen. Somehow, people suspect a trick, or a planned out purpose if you can roll double dice 10 times in a row...yet when it comes to the creation of the universe, they think it was chance instead of an explanation of a creator.
ISN'T THAT WEIRD???
It's when you take little examples, such as the dice rolling, that you find a lot of inconsistency. It is strange how we just skip over these simple things. All of this common sense is right in front of it...but we think we have to be Hubbles and Einsteins to think up logical arguments in a debate.
I know this article is shorter than some, but it is filled with things to think about. Try to find logical everyday things that you can use (in a cleverly planned analogy) in a debate. Of course, you don't have to debate someone, but you can keep them fresh in your mind when somebody tests your faith. For all of you scientists (or actually everybody) read (yes, in the Bible,) 1 Timothy 4:11-12. This is a very encouraging verse that inspired me to continue to "Fight For The Faith." Now you know how I got my blog title!
Anyways, thanks for reading, and I hope you have a great week! If you have any questions, ask me through the comments area, and I will respond as soon as possible.
