Ok so in the last article I explained how I would be writing three articles on
The difference between brain and mind can be complicated for some, and a piece of cake for others. If it's tricky and blows your mind, then try thinking about it. If that doesn't work, please ask questions (that are relevant) providing as many details about what confuses you.
If you've read the last article, you probably can already suspect it has something to do with one being physical matter and the other being a spiritual idea/concept/thingy-I-cannot-explain-well. Face it, I don't know everything either.
The brain: an amazing organ that...well makes you able to do everything you do. Read, eat, read, music....even walk...breathe....let's just say everything for sake of simplicity, NOT exactness. The brain is an organ that is located in your head, inside the skull. Damage to the brain can cause things from headaches to death. All-in-all, the brain is one of the most valuable organs in the entire body.
The mind: hmmm. I will make a "disclaimer" right now: my description of the "mind" is probably not the best, so just getting that out there.
How I would describe the mind:
- Spiritual (as in not of this physical world).
- Contains our thoughts.
- Contains our conscience.
Think about this: are your thoughts physical? Do they have mass? No. They aren't energy reactions either. They are...physical. They're information. So that's it.
Sometimes, I find that instead of trying to find all the answers and trusting in myself to find the truth, I'm slightly missing the mark. God knows all, and I as a Christian have put my entire faith and trust in Him. I don't understand the mind and could never describe it perfectly, but I can put my trust in God that He knows and that He is so happy I am asking questions and honoring Him.
Glory to God. Thanks for reading...
....annnnnnd as always I will see you in a week*!!!!!
