Simple or Scary Science?

I love alliteration, don't you?

...and posting on time.

Welcome everyone to Colorado Chapter series featuring Douglas Axe's book Undeniable How Biology Confirms Our Intuition That Life Is Designed. In the previous article [hyperlink], I gave a link to purchase the book and also drumroll please...disclaimers!

The very first thing I want to discuss is very important! Many times I've gotten remarks such as:

Yes, it's very funny. *sigh*

Ok. If I wanted my readers to take only one thing out of this article, it would be this: Apologetics is a fancy word for defending the faith. How do you defend the faith? HALT! No. You don't have to get a Ph. D in metaphysics and spend 14 years studying chemistry and being a mad scientist. You've already got what it takes: your intuition.

I see your question marks.

Don't be confused. Your intuition is quite accurate. Let me explain in more substantial details.

Let's first discuss what science is all about. Science is one tool we use to discover truth. Yes, this is my opinion and yes, it is only one general definition, but how then, would you define science? I'm curious to know. Leave a comment down below if you have your own definition.

Also, God made people in His image. If you've read with me through the Ethics series, you might have an idea of what I'm trying to get at. You see, because God made us in His image, we are creators, we are builders, we are thinkers, we have imaginations, we have a side of us that can't be reduced to physical forces/substances. Part of this "spiritual side" is our intuition.

Intuition isn't our "gut feeling," but it is similar. We see things and scientific studies and research done have shown that even young children recognize that there must be a greater being...a cause to everything...God. They might not know that it is God or anything like that...they just have an intuition that tells them that this world did not come about by chance.

Well, then you might be asking "Why are brilliant scholars atheists? What about this 'childlike intuition'? What's all that about?'"

Great question.

...and by the way in my English class we're studying suspense so I'll see you next time and will continue this discussion! :)

Thanks for reading.........aaaaand as always I'll see you next time!
